I just tried durian for the first time. The girls had tried it before and they hate it, but their dad likes it, so I really just had to give it a go. It was wrapped in a soft dough with whipped fresh cream. Imagine a doughnut with custard and apple inside. Good, right? Now imagine a doughnut with custard and onion inside. That's durian folks. The end.

Merinz, while I'm all for trying new things, and believe that one woman's meat is another woman's poison, it's really hard to see how anyone can find durian pleasing to the tastebuds!
